Al-Irshad Trust Hospital

Rural areas have worse access in terms of distance to health, public health and care services. The deprived community of the remote rural areas face severe problems in accessing the health facilities. They cannot afford to travel to nearby cities for routine medical check ups and get appropriate treatment. The pregnant women living in rural areas have no or limited access to maternity care. Long distances to urban or suburban centre and unavailability of qualified midwives in remote areas, put pregnant women life at risk.
